Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
At least 5 years work experience in a related field
Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Solid experience in designing and building high performing user interfaces.
Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience
Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) is needed to be successful in this position.
Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language, e.g. Java, Ruby, Python, C#, or Node.js.
Familiarity with object-oriented design and RESTful web services
Experience with AWS
Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
Can articulate the risks and benefits of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets.
Willingness to mentor junior engineers
Experience architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications
