Lixar, fueled by BDO Canada, is looking for a dynamic and dedicated DevOps Lead to join our remote Canadian team. As a key contributor, you will help Lixar take our professional services practice to the next level.
The ideal candidate will be a senior technical team member with pre sales experience and a background in system engineering.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you have :
You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field from an accredited institution
5+ years in network and system engineering for on premise, hybrid and cloud solutions
3+ years experience working with Cloud services Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience automating and managing large-scale infrastructure
Experience in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation
Experience in DevOps and MLOps Methodology providing best practices in automating CI / CD processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical solutions to various levels of the organization
Demonstrated problem solving, capacity planning and process creation skills
Preferably, you also have :
Strong scripting experience in your language of choice (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc)
Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes deployments)
