Woodframe Construction Project Coordinator : Harvey 2155

We are a major developer and builder of residential and commercial projects in BC. We are currently looking for a Woodframe Construction Project Coordinator, with current or previous working experience in this area

Job Description :

  • This role is a permanent fill-time position, responsible for all pre- construction needs and all necessary assistance during construction.
  • The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager, and works closely with various consultants, trades and other companies construction personnel.
  • In addition to the above mentioned duties, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, those duties specifically noted below :
  • Principle Objectives :

    Assist Project Manager with all necessary pre-construction, construction and post-construction project needs

    Coordinate and liaison between Consultants, Construction, Marketing, Development and trades to ensure the conceptual vision for each project is brought through to completion

    Major Responsibilities :

    Shop Drawing monitoring

    Letters of Credit releases

    Assist Estimator and Project Manager with Project Budgets.

    Prepare tender documents and issue to trades for pricing

    Analysis of submitted tenders for review and approvals by Project Manager and VP of Construction

    Prepare contract documents for review by Project Manager

    Attend Sub-Trade Site Meetings and issue minutes

    Complete the Drawings checks for project tender documents

    Assist Project Manager with creation and monitoring of project schedules

    Assist in issuing RFI’s and tracking to completion

    Assist in LEED, REAP, Built-Green, Energuide requirements of a project

    These duties require you to be self-motivated, maintain strong communication skills, a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

    You must always recognize the importance of confidentiality when dealing with information you may be exposed to as a function of your employment with the company.

    The position requires that you represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times and conduct yourself accordingly.

    This is a fulltime position

    Salary is open, depending on experience
