Intent of the process
This is an anticipatory process aiming to create a pool of qualified candidates. This pool may be used to staff positions on a term and / or permanent basis in the Saskatchewan Region.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience defined as a secondary school diploma and two (2) years of experience in lands, economics, law, business administration, commerce, public administration, Indigenous studies or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed as approved by the committee.
You must provide examples of how you meet this requirement.)
Experience in providing information, advice or support, or duties related to the implementation of program administration services.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
Successful completion of a post-secondary degree in one of the following areas : land use planning, real property management, environmental management, natural resource management, physical geography, project management, public administration, law, business administration, Indigenous studies or other specialization related to the position.
Experience negotiating in relation to projects or initiatives to achieve shared objectives.
Experience interpreting and / or applying legislation, regulations or policy.
Experience in the administration, negotiation, monitoring and compliance of real property dispositions.
Experience managing First Nation reserve lands.
Experience working directly with First Nation communities and providing services.
The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)
Knowledge of Indigenous or northern issues in Saskatchewan.
Knowledge of programs and services available through the Department of Indigenous Services.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to research and analyse information, develop options and provide recommendations on a program or project.
Thinking things through.
Working effectively with others.
Showing initiative and being action-oriented.
