Your opportunity :

The Institute for Management & Innovation (IMI) is the centre for professional management education at U of T Mississauga and has a strong administrative team that supports our six professional graduate programs and our undergraduate programs in management.

The MMPA Program is accredited by CPA Canada and CPA Ontario and provides a solid grounding in business, combined with in-depth professional accounting.

The MMPA Program also includes two, four-month work terms (January to April). This enables MMPA students to solidify their classroom learnings on the job and start developing their entry-level CPA competencies.

The MMPA Program is a fully integrated program. The MMPA is a unique program that draws students from all over the world, as well as from non-business, non-accounting educational backgrounds.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Fostering and maintaining a network of external contacts to support recruitment strategies
  • Determining appropriate schools to visit based on an analysis of feedback and market trends
  • Delivering student recruitment presentations
  • Developing content for marketing and / or promotional materials
  • Advising potential applicants, students, parents, and / or guidance counselors on admissions criteria and processes by probing and providing a range of options and possible consequences
  • Recording expenses on a single account
  • Providing formal job-related training
  • Qualifications

    Essential Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years experience in marketing, professional accounting and service delivery.
  • Experience in shaping and implementing marketing strategies in a university environment.
  • Proficiency in MS office or comparable software; webmaster and social media skills.
  • Excellent data management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills.
