What you will do

Under the direction of the Area General Manager (AGM), serves as single point of contact for the respective Area, accountable for Cash goals for HVAC and Fire.

Serves as a member of the Area Management Team (AMT); dotted line responsibility to NA Finance Leader

How you will do it

Manages Area Cash Core Team (Consisting of HVAC Cash Specialists, and Fire Cash Specialists), responsible for professional development, including but not limited to training cross-

domain to expand experience of Cash Specialists.

  • Establishes Area operating cadence for Cash, including people, process and reporting (i.e. interactions at Area and Branch / District level;
  • usage of AR conference calls; data sources / frequency to support process; etc).

    Manages the Dispute Management Process to ensure appropriate accountability and timely resolution.

    Manages Aged AR / 90+ Days Aged Disposition process to ensure appropriate accountability and timely resolution.

    Partners with AMT, Collections, Cash Application, Booking, Billing and other functional leaders to create and implement strategies for reducing aged receivables and achieving cash collection targets.

    Conducts Customer Visits / other direct interaction with Customers as deemed necessary to support Cash goals.

    Partners with peer ACMs in a "community of practice" to share leading practices, harmonize as applicable.

    Empowered by AGM with appropriate Delegation of Authority (DoA) for write-offs, and other transactions as deemed necessary.

    Monitors legal collections, lien / bond timelines to protect rights for all Area accounts.

    What we look for

    Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration, accounting or finance.

    5-10 years’ experience in an office manager’s position or equivalent, strong administrative backgrounds, financial background a plus.

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with management and team members.

    Ability to handle / balance multiple projects / tasks and respond to Area management’s needs and challenges.

    Must be literate in the use of the on-line systems and personal computers including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software packages as required.

    Internally motivated and driven, self-disciplined, able to work in a team environment. Ability to maintain high ethical standards across entire team.
