How You Will Contribute
The successful candidate could be working in one of the following departments :
Global Identity and Access Management : The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) team is responsible for the strategy and governance for all information assets within TD, providing governance and controls oversight to support the Global Identity and Access Management functions across all lines of business in TD Through Identity we protect all information within the Bank.
The team provisions most access to systems, including privileged and regular access. Working with our Partners in internal Audit they provide guidance and resolution to many audit concerns.
They are responsible for the lifecycle management of identities as well as authentication and authorization services across the bank.
Governance & Regulatory : This team manages the TRMIS policy for technology requirements and the framework for how the enterprise documents applications requirements / compliance and gaps (i.
e. technology controls missing in part or in whole that are required).
Innovation : The Cyber Innovation and Emerging Technologies team identifies and presents innovative technologies and approaches in solving high priority security needs to provide better protections for our customers.
We conduct validation testing for potential new products and promote innovation and innovative leadership among government and industry groups.
Data Protection and Cloud Security : The Data Protection & Cloud Security team is responsible for the development and governance of the firm-wide Cloud Security / Data Protection strategy.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining, developing, implementing, and managing standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize security, availability of service, efficiency and effectiveness, as well as providing Subject Matter Expert advice to partners for activities, projects, and initiatives to ensure Cloud Security requirements are met.
Application Security : The Application Security team is responsible for the development and governance of the enterprise-wide Application Security strategy.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining, developing, implementing, and managing standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize security, availability of service, efficiency and effectiveness, as well as providing Subject Matter Expert advice to partners for activities, projects, and initiatives to ensure Application Security requirements are met.
The Application Security Programs support the TD Enterprise by : Identifying existing technical risk while continuing to lay the groundwork for strategic application security opportunities, addressing the fundamental cause of application security risks by influencing developer behaviors, supporting developers on understanding the technical risk and impact vulnerabilities and providing input to remediate them.
Enterprise Security Architecture : This team provides security architecture governance and strategy for the enterprise. This position requires a constant desire to learn about security architecture capabilities and use various software tools such as MS Office tools and architecture modelling tools to create artifacts.
It also involves managing ESA requests and working with ESA internal customers to facilitate their requests. There is also an opportunity to assist in building the artifacts that would be used to secure TD’s assets.
Endpoint Governance : This team has oversight over security controls on all endpoints at TD, including servers, workstations, mobile devices, Cloud, IOT, appliances, etc.
In this role we set control objectives, monitor adherence to those objectives, track and escalate non-compliance as required, and report overall compliance status both internally and to regulators.
We also identify and track evolving threats, and assess control posture effectiveness against those threats, to ensure the Bank is adequately protected.
This position will be located in the GTA (Toronto and Scarborough), Ontario
