The Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is the largest not-for-profit elder care organization in Canada, delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate services to Chinese and other ethnic seniors since 1994.
Operating 805 long-term care home beds, a wide range of community support services, and a hospice, Yee Hong annually serves more than 15,000 individuals across the Greater Toronto Area.
Yee Hong has a strong track record of success, and exceeds Provincial standards on LTC KPIs, including through the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In order to provide financial support to the not-for-profit organization, as well as to share leading practices in elder care across the industry, Yee Hong has launched a consulting business supporting home operators and senior service providers across Canada and internationally.
Reporting to the CIO / VP, Corporate and Community Services who oversees the consulting portfolio in the interim, the Engagement Manager will oversee several projects of significant complexity, risk and transformational impact.
S)he will work closely with various Subject Matter Experts from across and external to Yee Hong to develop conduct research and analysis, prepare and deliver presentations and other deliverables.
S)he will manage multiple client relationships at the project level, exceed client expectations and build credibility through delivering actionable recommendations and top-quality results.
With a keen eye to developing new business, (s)he will also identify new opportunities with existing clients and develop proposals for new client prospects.
In addition to participating directly in client consulting engagements, the Engagement Manager will support internal Yee Hong transformation projects and play an active role in managing the Consulting department.

This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced senior consultants and elder care experts.
Master’s degree in business administration, health management or clinical (nursing, pharmacy, etc.), or Bachelor’s degree plus
relevant work experience
5-7 years’ work experience, preferably in management consulting or other professional services in healthcare and / or social services,
and ideally in a seniors services organization
Experience as a Project Manager in a time-compressed, highly dynamic and entrepreneurial environment (PMP certification considered an asset)
Strong interpersonal skills, notably the ability to work with a wide-range of clinical, operational, and management professionals
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce proposals, client-ready documents and other
artifacts, particularly in PowerPoint
Robust analytical and reporting skills and familiarity with Excel
Working knowledge of accounting, finance and business strategy / case methodologies
Willingness to support marketing and business development efforts
Experience working in a culturally-diverse environment, fluency in Mandarin and / or Cantonese an asset
Strong passion for generating social good
Interest in elder care and healthcare overall
Travel may be required as conditions allow.
