The Design and Construction Lead is responsible for leading the coordination and safe execution of construction activities while working closely with the Project Director, various technical specialties, clinical operations, and various other partners and stakeholders.
The Design and Construction Lead is responsible and accountable for the coordination of construction activities including constructability analysis, contracting, field coordination, and cost control.
FUNCTIONAL REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Design and Construction Lead reports directly to the Project Director, MMH Capital Building Project. The Lead functions as part of a team of professionals collaborating closely to facilitate and complete the capital project on time and within budget.
The Lead does not have direct reports but provides guidance, direction and instruction to a wide variety of contractors, trades, shippers, and staff to ensure efficient, safe day to day activity in the course of construction. Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Architecture or Engineering, plus ten (10) years' experience in all phases of project planning and construction inclusive of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
