  • Responsible to manage Epics, Features and Sprint backlogs for 3 or more project work streams, validates project scope with key stakeholders and positions each work stream for the greatest likelihood of achieving its business objectives.
  • Conduct sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives in an effective way so as to complete all tasks efficiently and ensure project and program schedules are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor compliance with PMO policies and framework as defined in the PMO and ALM (Application Life-Cycle Management) guidance, by ensuring all the required artifacts are scheduled and created.
  • Strong attention to quality outcomes, set the standards high when it comes to setting Acceptance Criteria and declaring tasks as complete
  • Uses judgement on when escalation of issues and / or risks is required, ensuring timely resolution to project impediments.
  • Coaching and supporting the scrum team members as needed to deliver the best outcomes, encouraging team work and transparency
  • Facilitating conflicts between teams and / or team members as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Scrum certification required
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps advanced level experience is required.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Team player and consensus-builder.
  • Has 3 or more years’ of experience running large scale scrum of scrum teams for a Software Development and / or Multi-Cloud build projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 10+ years managing IT projects in a large complex corporate environment ,
  • 5-10 years in a Project Manager role managing project teams
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager or equivalent experience in a software project management role
  • A thorough understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, values, and practices.
  • Knowledge of formal project management methodologies.
  • Experience delivering one or more products through all phases of a SDLC as well as practical agile lifecycle experience.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and / or other Project Management tools
  • Practical experience managing projects greater than $1M
  • Proven management and team leadership abilities
  • Cost Management experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Risk Management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at both technical and executive level
  • Excellent skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Familiarity with Mining or other Natural Resource business desirable
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Integrations and / or MuleSoft implementations desirable
  • Proficient Spanish, both written and spoken, is considered an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
