Please note that we will be pulling the first batch of candidates from the inventory on November 1, 2019. If you are referred from the inventory you will be contacted to be assessed at a later date.

If you are not referred no communication will be sent. Future pulls from the inventory may be administered.

Assessment information :

A variety of tools and methods may be used to assess candidates, including, but not limited to, written tests, interviews and / or reference checks.

Any information that you provide throughout the process may form part of the assessment, including :

1. Screening questionnaire : A summary of past experience, including the situation, action and result must be included in your responses to the screening questionnaire.

2. The names of two (2) academic or professional supervisors, letters of recommendation or performance evaluations.

3. Samples of work, publications, academic achievements (awards or fellowships) and transcripts.

Please have the above mentioned documents and information ready should we invite you for further assessment.

Intent of the process

An inventory will be established from this process to staff identical or similar positions within Statistics Canada in the National Capital Region.

This process may be used to staff positions of various tenures, language requirements, and security profiles.

A list of the courses you have taken as well as any courses that you are taking now, or that you will be taking this academic year

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education :

Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Refer to the list of areas of study that may be applied towards meeting the above specializations through a combination of education (courses), experience and / or training.

Please explain how you meet.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Master’s degree in one of the following areas :

Economics, Statistics, Health, Social Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Data Modeling, Geomatics Engineering, Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics

Areas of studies and specializations sought :

k)Agro-economics / Agricultural Economics, Food Economics,
