The Media Insights Sr. Analyst will successfully oversee the execution of strategic insights for multiple lines of business within Rogers Media.

The ideal candidate will work as part of the insights team to inform business decision-making within the areas of marketing, content / programming, communications and media sales and exert influence with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will be doing : Responsible for executing strategic projects and initiatives pertaining to Rogers Media brandsMonitoring industry trends and sharing key insights with internal clientsAudience analysis of TV, Radio and Digital property performanceManaging Brand tracking for Rogers Media BrandsSupport of external communications (i.

e. press releases)Representing the Media Insights team in internal stakeholder meetingsBudget and vendor managementWhat you have : Market research experience ranging from a minimum of 3 years to 5 years experience in media research considered an assetExpertise / Experience with as many of the following a possible : TV, Radio, Digital MediaKnowledge & Experience with the following data sources : Numeris, Vividata, comScoreExperience scoping, developing, managing and presenting results from custom research projects experience on both the client & supplier side preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including intermediate Excel and Powerpoint skills) and data analysis software (e.

SPSS, R, Power BI, etc.)Ability to work independentlyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and via e-mailMust be a persuasive, effective and engaging presenterAttention to detail and accuracy are imperativeAbility to balance several projects concurrently and meet deadlinesCritical thinking, curiosity & drive to go beyond surface-level data & findings to find the story within the dataHigh degree of self-awareness;
