    Qualifications :

  • Several years of experience in related janitorial / custodial work or maintenance / repair work or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Knowledge and work-related experience with the methods, tools, and equipment used in janitorial, building maintenance, and repair work is required.
  • An RCMP Security Clearance must be obtained and maintained, and a valid Driver's License for the Province of British Columbia is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program.
  • The ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions is required.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Execute all day-to-day cleaning and sanitization tasks throughout the building.
  • Quickly address any unforeseen cleaning needs that arise during operation hours.
  • Ensure the space is always stocked with required cleaning supplies and tools.
  • Support with routine inspection and maintenance activities while addressing deficiencies when possible.
  • Using heavy-duty cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and commercial vacuums.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision completing various maintenance tasks and prioritizing the work.
