As a member of the Tangerine Design team, you will contribute to the overall success of the ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

We are seeking a UX Content Writer to join our experience design team to own and define how we communicate with users across our digital properties.

As the UX Content Writer you will work to shape product experiences by writing useful, meaningful copy that helps users complete a task.

You will work with people across different cross-functional teams in Product, Marketing, Operations and IT. Collaborating with each, you will write to a cohesive and unified voice across products and platforms.

You regularly use empathy, logic and data to inform content choices.

You are focused in understanding nuances of how of how our customers think, and advocate for the best possible solutions for them.

You ensure that customers have the right information presented in perfect harmony with the visual and interactive design elements of the experience.

You will quickly gain expertise in the products and services to which you provide content, using them as a user would.

Is this role right for you?

  • Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and researchers to craft clear, concise copy for our digital properties including mobile.
  • Advocate for the best user experience supported by data.
  • Coordinate content approvals from draft to final copy and sign-offs for business partners.
  • Create, edit and proofread content to reflect UX-based principles.
  • Help refine and evolve our brand voice within our digital properties.
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to junior team members on the role of UX content writing.
  • Participate in user testing and analysis.
  • Organized and can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Skills you need to succeed :

  • 5 years of UX-focused writing experience.
  • Strong portfolio of relevant writing examples with a UX focus, including problems you helped solve, your contributions, and impact to customer.
  • A curiosity about users and how to anticipate their needs by understanding behaviours.
  • Experience creating terminology and usage lists, editorial patterns and UI text style guidelines.
  • Positive energy and leadership capabilities, as well as a willingness to work outside a typical content role to deliver customer centric solutions.
  • Proven experience working in Agile working environments.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines .
  • Education

  • College or university degree
  • Degree in Writing, Design or relevant field
