  • You Also Have :

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in ETL development and best practices, with a strong understanding of Database Concepts, Performance Tuning in SQL and Informatica.
  • 1-2 years experience with Sqoop, Spark and Hive tools.
  • Technical Skills in order of priority : Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica BDE or Streamsets, Strong SQL, Hadoop programming (Sqoop, Spark, Hive), Mainframe (JCL / ESP) , Teradata Experience.
  • Strong knowledge of technology platforms and environments.
  • As The Developer, Data Integration, You Will :

  • Perform design and development of ETL processes to support project requirements
  • Develop Informatica mappings, SQL / stored procedures as well as data maps for PowerExchange, or Unix shell scripts.
  • Develop Sqoop scripts to extract data to / from RDBMS to Hadoop.
  • Develop Hive tables and queries.
  • Develop Spark jobs in (Scala / Python / Java) in order to stream / publish or consume data from Hadoop.
  • Perform unit testing, QA, and work with business partners to resolve any issues discovered during UAT.
  • Responsible for peer-review of mappings and workflows when required.
  • Maintain development and test data environments by populating the data based on project requirements.
