Quality Assurance and Production management (QAPM) provides Quality Assurance, Event Management, Production Management, and End User services to clients within the Firm.

Position Description

The Finance Quality Assurance (QA) team is responsible for testing and assuring the quality of the firm’s Accounting, Budgeting, and Regulatory systems.

Finance QA is looking for a Team Lead Quality Assurance Tester to join our global team specifically into the Technology Operations Management Systems (TOMS) QA team which is responsible for testing the budgeting systems.

  • The role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Lead Quality Assurance Tester to head the efforts to evolve our testing paradigm;
  • to embrace automation and new technologies while ensuring our processes certify the quality of our budgeting systems to deliver the intended business value.

  • The right candidate will be expected to work very closely with business analysts and development teams in defining and executing test strategies;
  • test plans; and test automation. They will work to promote completeness, accuracy and validity of the data quality and generated reports from the budgeting systems.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the existing testing team with team members located in multiple regions
  • Interface with business analysts, developers, and clients to set and deliver on strategies for testing and automation to ensure the quality of the systems
  • Coordinate all testing activities for the team
  • Reviewing test plans and test cases
  • Developing, enhancing, and executing test cases
  • Leading and developing the automation of regression tests
  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting project progress to Senior Management
  • Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • 10+ years of experience working in Quality Assurance
  • Ability to organize testing and automation efforts that require coordination across QA teams, Dev teams, BA teams, operations teams and business users
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux environments
  • A quick learner, being able to adapt to a fast paced heterogeneous environment and acquire necessary knowledge
  • Good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot through logical reasoning
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team
  • Experience applying DevOps and Continuous Delivery concepts towards various types of test automation such as Smoke Tests and Regression
  • Experience with Python, PERL or related scripting language
  • Skills Desired

  • Experience working in Financial Services or with Accounting Systems
  • Experience of working in an Agile process / environment
  • Experience with HP - ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) software
  • Knowledge of French and English are required.
