The branch manager manages all of the branch's operational activities by promoting a legendary experience for clients and staff while increasing shareholder value.
The employee provides leadership, coaching and training to employees to achieve business performance, professional and personal development objectives.
The branch manager will to increase clientele through in-depth knowledge of the local market and the exploitation of existing and new opportunities.

Visibly demonstrate lobby leadership in the customer lounge, help & advice area and in self-serve areas of the branch with the goal to deliver legendary customer experience and create a positive First Impression’ by greeting and engaging them in a range of sales, service and informational conversations
Lead and model legendary customer experience at every customer interaction
Ensure employee scheduling is optimal to meet customer demands and ensure compliance with internal Hours of Work Policies
Own the execution of the branch LEI plan and support achievement of LEI objectives
Coach to ensure customer problems are handled appropriately, and participate in the negotiation and resolution where necessary
Actively promote TD Canada Trust’s positive image within the community through participation and leadership in community and business organizations, special events, fundraisers, and more
Lead and coach the team on advice-giving strategies to improve the overall customer experience
Team Spirit & Development
Lead and apply the performance management process, supporting employees in their personal and performance development by utilizing learning maps and external courses, as appropriate
Develop and people-manage the branch team by recruiting, coaching and recognizing employees
Engage in and support the training and development of employees with both internal and external training
Create and cultivate a cohesive team, and promote a positive work environment
Demonstrate leadership as per TD management practices and Leadership Profile
Lead and follow up on action plans to improve the employee experience
Meet or exceed branch business objectives by negotiating and executing branch business plan
Plan and execute business development activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactic accordingly
Coach team to adopt and employ a customer-first mindset to identify customer needs and to deliver on the business sales, advice and LEI strategies
Identify and build relationships with existing personal and small business customers as well as external referral sources to generate demand for Bank products / services
Internal Practices & Processes
Achieve branch objective for Operational Excellence
Follow Bank and industry codes of conduct, compliance and securities laws regulations and role model to employees to support their knowledge, understanding and practice
Apply and ensure employees understand and apply Bank / branch operating policies and procedures, which may include assuming rotating responsibility for the branch opening and closing procedures
Support the accuracy of customer transactions by following all due diligence requirements
Accreditation Requirements :
Mutual Fund License (for two years)
Branch Compliance Officer’s Course
CSI’s PFPC Course is recommended but not required
