Tasks :

Follow all internal regulations, standards and policies of the company;

Supply the displays and ensure their aesthetics;

Collaborate with the person responsible for special requests from customers if necessary;

Help control the level of inventories to minimize excess or insufficient stocks, to maximize sales, turnover of inventories established for the store;

Receive the goods respecting the cold chain;

Ensure that the articles rotation procedures are scrupulously respected and that the merchandising presents optimal freshness and quality in order to maximize sales and profits;

Keep shelves, refrigerated compartments and warm compartments well

full ;

Ensure that all the displays are set up to optimize sales and profits, that they are impeccable and colorful, and present, where applicable, complementary ranges and appropriate signs;

Check that the temperature of the refrigeration or stove units is adequate;

Follow up on an item ordered by a customer if necessary;

Ensure that all products include the appropriate prices, signs and types of exhibitions;

Notify the manager in the event of an equipment defect;

Clean designated areas every hour, in accordance with store policy, and respond promptly to emergencies and potential security risks, such as spills or plastic containers containing liquid products;

Ensure that passageways, exits and storage area are clean, unobstructed and well organized;

Monitor inventory transfers between departments (butchery, fruit and vegetables);

Fill in the food loss form at the end of the day at closing;

Ensure that the department is ready to serve customers when the store opens;

Complete the manager's tour as requested by the manager;

Use a wide variety of selling techniques (suggestive selling technique);

Perform any other related tasks required by his superior.

Responsibilities :

Respect the dress code and personal hygiene;

Punch at entry, exit and for breaks under penalty of sanction;

Comply with CNESST standards by wearing appropriate shoes and promoting safe work methods to avoid work accidents;

Provide help and prompt and courteous service to customers;

Handle customer complaints.

Always work as a team;

Be discreet, attentive and know how to speak clearly and clearly in the different official languages;

Follow all food safety procedures in accordance with store and department requirements.
