Position Overview :
The Engagement Manager is responsible to lead the full life cycle of a project from the start to the successful delivery, and beyond.
You have Project Management experience and excellent communication skills to lead the delivery team (ideally take part when needed if you have a technical background) as well as the soft skills to work within the client environment to build consensus with a passion for client satisfaction.
What we are looking for is your ability to work with the client through the project life-cycle, ensure accuracy and quality of project deliverables and multitask with various clients â€ both onsite and remote.
We are also looking for your experience and expertise to leverage operational best practices for our ongoing improvements of delivery efficiency while building knowledge for our delivery team members.
Yes, travel is required but itâ€™s very manageable and usually only lasts a few days per project.
You are ideally certified in Project Management and have related experience on a compltxprojects to back it up. If you have a ITIL or CSM certification, that is an asset but not a â€ must haveâ€™.
Exposure to ServiceNow and other cloud service platforms is strongly preferred.

Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value;
Organize and lead project status and workshops, project meetings;
Prepare and distribute progress reports;
Manage risks, issues, decisions and correct deviations from plans;
Accountable for managing the overall delivery of projects, within the specified level of quality defined by the project sponsor, on time, within budget and scope
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, project members and management
Managing Resource allocations and keeping them aligned
Challenging work-effort with a client first mindset
Managing quality of work to â€ the SuMO Wayâ€™
Adhering to the Engagement Manager best practices
Managing client expectations
Participating in quality and review meetings of overall project progress
Demonstrating a passion for client success and serve as front line customer advocate
Supporting the overall relationship and revenue management of the account
Identifying new business opportunities within accounts and seek to create, develop and strengthen strategic client relationships
Must have :
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex with multi-function teams.
A proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies
PMP, Prince2, Certificate in Project Management or equivalent Project Management education or training
Proven leadership and motivation skills
Strong written and oral communication skills a must; can present formally or informally
Working with the project life-cycle and SDLC
Outstanding customer service, client engagement skills
An ability to â€œread the roomâ€ and â€œlead the roomâ€
Thorough understanding of IT & Enterprise Service Management
An open mind, flexibility and willingness to learn
Nice to have :
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
ServiceNow experience and certifications in valuable areas such as ITSM, CMDB, Asset, Sam, Discovery and Integrations
Solution architecture experience
Exposure to SOX, COBIT, IT Governance
