The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia seeks outstanding candidates for one teaching faculty position in Finance, beginning July 1, 2020 (Rank : Lecturer (non-tenure track position)).
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and leadership abilities.
Teaching experience consistent with Beedie’s Vision 2022 strategic priorities of innovation, social responsibility, and a global perspective will be prioritized.
Applicants should have a graduate degree in Finance and relevant industry experience.
The candidate will be expected to teach eight course sections per year in areas such as finance, corporate finance, financial risk management, investments and derivatives at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and to contribute to teaching excellence at Beedie.
In addition, the successful candidate will actively participate in Beedie’s collegial self-governance and offer assistance and guidance to students, peers and the academic community through activities such as committee work, mentorship and experiential learning opportunities.
