Core Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the accounting, valuation, and reporting of client funds, providing full reconciliation of all cash, positions, prices, interest and dividends to manager, broker and other sources
  • Responsibility for maintaining and continuously updating the process documentation
  • Reviewing the accurate entry of trade, corporate actions, prices and other reference data
  • Resolving complex system-based queries impacting the accuracy of position and P&L valuations
  • Development of basic knowledge of Advent Geneva
  • Development of basic knowledge of Broadridge Analytics and Security Master as well as Import and Report Manager modules
  • Development of basic knowledge of Broadridge Price Master and Business Manager modules
  • Development of basic knowledge of Advent Geneva architecture in order to help with setups, configuration, and batch processes
  • Assisting with system administration and data integration, as well as other vendors
  • Communicating and responding to client queries and assisting team leaders and managers in resolving such queries
  • Communicating and answering any queries on the funds from the team
  • Communicating and delivering reporting to the direct client, on a daily, weekly and / or monthly basis as required
  • Ensuring that the Team Leader is informed on any outstanding items pertaining to the fund valuations in a timely manner within month end period
  • Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience within Fund Administration or Asset Management
  • A Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent with accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science and / or investments background
  • Awareness of the needs of clients and desire to provide an excellent client service
  • An analytical mind and a willingness to embrace new technologies to identify new solutions and inefficient processes
  • Experience with securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options and OTC products
  • Investigative, and problem solving skills
  • A track record of achievement; and
  • Ability to work independently in meeting deadlines and still work within a team environment
  • Working hours are 6am - 2 : 30pm daily Package NotesCompensation
