Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading manufacturer of heavy equipment attachments. We are in search of a Product Support Technician to join their team covering Southwestern Ontario.
This technician will provide exceptional customer service by providing technical support and training to the dealer network and by performing repairs and installations throughout SW Ontario and beyond, as needed.
Field Service Technician Responsibilities Include :
Extensive travel throughout Ontario, Canada, and the US
Provide dealer installation training
Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours
Provide excellent customer service and support
Produce timely and detailed service reports
Maintain excellent communication to help build positive customer relationships
Preform both shop and field installations
Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization
Pride and ownership of the workmanship you provide
Requirements
Good knowledge of heavy equipment electrical and hydraulic systems and the ability to use schematics to diagnose, test, and repair equipment
Comfortable using digital resources and able to download and upload operational programs
Proven service experience with 2-5 years of relevant experience on mobile equipment
Ability to travel, work flexible hours and adapt to constantly changing work schedules and priorities
Must be well organized with the ability to react quickly to customer requirements
Excellent verbal and digital communication skills.
Focused, energetic and organized with superior attention to detail and a sense of urgency
