What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Senior Director, Program and Integrated Service Management, the Director, Program Management will support the Program and Integrated Service Management team whose mandate is to deliver program management and business service excellence to Enterprise Real Estate and Workplace Transformation (EREWT).
As a seasoned professional in project management, you will be responsible for overall program management, integration and reporting of enterprise real estate transformation projects including the Lease Exit, Decommissioning, and Swing (LEDS) program.
This will include integration with the CIBC Square Program governance processes and status updates. As the Director, Program Management, you will lead the program management team to ensure the successful delivery of the LEDS program, monitoring the completion of major milestones, and working closely with other teams across Enterprise Real Estate, the CIBC Square Program and external vendors.
You will prepare regular project status reports to leadership and to the CIBC Square Project team.

How you’ll succeed
Program management You lead and manage often large and complex projects, ensuring the project deliverables meet expectations.
You prepare project plans and execute the project or program plan in a manner that effectively balances quality, time and cost, ensuring that projects or programs are completed according to general / broad work plans.
You monitor the completion of major milestones and reassign project priorities to maintain the project or program schedule.
You monitor and justify expenditures against project or program budget and prepare frequent status reports, working with CIBC Square Program teams to refine approaches and leverage down costs.
You investigate and escalate, on an on-going basis, the timely resolution of issues. You provide regular reporting to Management when required.
You report and track benefits related to project initiatives.
Relationship management You build strong relationships, collaborate with team members and other workstreams to ensure the successful delivery of a project and ensure that updates and decisions are socialized with leadership in a timely manner.
You understand views of various stakeholders and facilitate problem solving to find the best solutions for our clients, employees and shareholders.
You build consensus among a wide range of stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic decisions.
Leadership You provide ongoing thought leadership and guidance to a program team by providing direction and ensuring collaboration across workstreams.
As a team leader, you will develop the skill sets on the team to consistently maintain an accurate view of the project status for Executive updates and ongoing status reporting.
Enterprise real estate You have a good understanding of the end-to-end process required for the implementation of real estate projects in corporate office buildings.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 10+ years of project management experience . It’s an asset if the project management experience is in corporate real estate projects.
You have developed knowledge of strategic planning, project management skills sufficient to plan and execute a multi-faceted real estate program.
