Our government client is looking for an Intermediate level Technical Writer.
The resource will be required to develop operational procedures for various tasks related to the administration CFSA pension business activities.
Expertise in developing procedures, course material and presentation material for training sessions is required.
In order to develop new procedures that will comply with legislation, the resource will need to :
nterview subject matter experts in order to obtain the roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to administer the programs;
review existing documentation such as procedures, manuals, web sites, personal notes, etc.;
consult various acts and legislation;
liaise and obtain guidance from PWGSC advisory services;
prepare drafts and final written procedures using word processing software and submit for review
initiate testing to ensure that the procedures are thorough, identify gaps / deficiencies and make corrections as required;
submit final versions of procedures to the Chief and Manager for acceptance and approval;
