To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a Senior Director of Infrast ructure to join our growing team, all while being a leading example of our company culture.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all building systems are operating at 100%;
  • Lead and manage the Infrastructure department, including remote Site Managers. Assist managers in directing their teams to complete all projects and daily maintenance tasks in a safe, professional, and orderly manner;
  • Manage spending according to budgets and needs. Create and manage budgets for Opex and Capex for the facilities, ensuring costs are within budget and managed appropriately;
  • Manage tenant relations. Manage BCDR suites, ensure they are kept in perfect condition;
  • Maintain asset lists; forecast needs and proactively manage lifecycles of equipment;
  • Manage relationships with suppliers;
  • Renegotiate existing contracts / negotiate new contracts. Ensure compliance with various contracts and or authorities;
  • Oversee all major and minor renovation projects in the buildings;
  • Familiarity with and manage building automation and other building management systems;
  • Ensure snow removal is done quickly and efficiently every snowfall;
  • Ensure all maintenance done in a timely manner on all necessary equipment (HVAC, elevators, generators, etc.);
  • Manage various certifications such as BOMA Best and other environmental green and efficiency programs;
  • Available 24 / 7 / 365 for any situations or emergencies that may arise;
  • Oversee data center pods and SLA’s for outside clients.
  • WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Minimum five years of property management experience;
  • Experience managing, leading and motivating teams;
  • Understanding of all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical etc). Strong HVAC and electrical knowledge is an asset;
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating to obtain optimal results;
  • Ability to identify potential problems before they occur;
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills;
  • Experience managing large budgets;
  • Ability to organize time effectively and work with tight deadlines. Ability to strive in stressful situations;
  • Strong Computer skills;
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering degree is an asset;
  • Availability to be on call 24 / 7 for urgent or unforeseen situations.
