Job Description

The Team Leader position is typically best suited for individuals searching for summer employment (May-September) who enjoy engaging with customers, providing great customer service, working outdoors and are looking to improve on sales / service skills.

This role is a very essential role for our operations at Canadian BBQ Boys. As a Team Leader, you will be learning the ins and outs of the barbecue industry by conducting the barbecue cleaning service that we offer according to company processes and procedures, facilitating the customer experience, managing your own set of supplies and equipment, and managing a Team Member.

Team Leaders have the opportunity to work their way into the Territory Manager, and Regional Manager as well as Office positions, which can come with pay increases along with increased responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning barbecues at both Commercial and Residential properties
  • Upselling products and add-ons
  • Maintaining and organizing company supplies and equipment
  • Interacting with customers
  • Managing a Team Member
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Experience working in-home services industry is an asset
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • Able to perform physical labour and operate light equipment
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Able to meet deadlines, problem solve and work well under pressure
  • High attention to details
  • Compensation

  • Starting at 17.5 + Tips + Incentives (Most make $18- $21 / hr)

  • Mileage incurred during operations is compensated on top of hourly pay

  • Full-time Summer Position (May-August)
  • Over-time hours available during May + June
  • Requirements

  • Vehicle available for use throughout summer (required to be considered for Team Leader roles)
  • Without a vehicle you can still be considered for the Team Member role
