We operate 3 shifts- days, afternoons, and midnights.
Day and afternoon shift - Monday-Friday, voluntary overtime on Saturdays
Overnight shift- Sunday-Thursday, voluntary overtime on Fridays
Current staffing priority is the AFTERNOON / MIDNIGHT shift; however we encourage all applicants to apply
Shift preference will be accommodated as best we can in accordance with availability and staffing needs.
Safety Shoes are required.
Your Responsibilities :
The Compound Operator safely operates a compound line which produces the final product. How does this look? You will be :
Operating primary compound line in accordance with equipment specifications and standard quality production procedures maintaining finished product dimensions between tolerance ranges specified per product SKU of product to be made.
Setting up line to include setting heat controls, selecting tools, cooling devices and the compound recipe specified.
Setting up and operating all necessary support equipment.
Unloading and correctly identifying and storing finished products with completed batch records attached.
Assisting other operators in start-up, shutdown and change over procedure.
Calling technicians and maintenance when needed.
Filling out all reports supplying information to needed areas on the product produced.
Working with team to achieve goal-oriented batch targets.
Performing general housekeeping duties around machine areas.

Good physical stamina :
Standing for the duration of your shift
Able to lift more than 30 lbs. repeatedly over 8-hour shift
Working in the heat
Fast-paced and high-pressure work environment
Able to work as part of a team but also independently
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
No experience is necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate
