The Direct Distribution Leadership Development Program is an accelerated learning opportunity - approximately one year in length -
designed to develop the future leaders of our company. We’re looking for enthusiastic, aspiring experts with a track record of excellence and a passion for insurance to join our team.

Get with the program.
Our program is structured as a series of rotations to build up your knowledge of core insurance functions, sharpen your business skills, and develop your people leadership skills.
We want the program to be a fun and meaningful learning experience for you, so we’ve designed it with a mix of self-study, structured training, and customized on-the-job coaching.
When you start the program, we’ll introduce you to our products and systems and give you the opportunity to take courses towards the completion of your Chartered Insurance Professionals (CIP) certification or other licences required by province.
The leadership development portion of the program will last approximately 11-12 months, during which time you’ll have many opportunities to expand and exercise your skills and better understanding of our business :
Job shadow with managers from different departments to experience their day to day, contribute to management meetings and help with coaching and training
Lead and participate in special assignments and strategic projects
Participate in Senior Leadership meetings
Work and collaborate with different departments : Sales, Underwriting, Deployment, Workforce Management, Accounts Receivable, Call Quality, Telemarketing, Administration, Group Business, Customer Experience as well as Training and Development.
For the duration of your participation in the LDP program, you will be reporting to a regional Sales Manager.
Upon successful completion of the program, a leadership position is not guaranteed, but you’ll be equipped and ready when the opportunity arises within the belairdirect operations team.
Furthermore, once you earn a leadership position, a mentor will be assigned you.
A completed College Diploma or University Degree
Previous leadership or coaching experience is an asset
You have demonstrated leadership and excellence in academics, work and extracurricular activities
Experience in operations, customer service, or a contact centre role in the financial or the insurance industry is considered an asset.
