We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to join Chilliwack General Hospital.

Build on your education and experience as you :

  • Perform pulmonary function procedures including spirometry, lung volume determination, diffusion capacity, inhalation challenges, and arterial blood gas punctures.
  • Perform cardiopulmonary exercise studies.
  • Complete and files testing documents and records.
  • Assist in developing department quality assurance programs by co-ordinating the standards of the Diagnostic Accreditation Program with standards and procedures of the department.
  • To join the organization we require you to have :

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam.
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Level C. One year's recent related experience in an accredited level three pulmonary function lab.
