TELUS is looking for a Sr. Instructional Designer to create training materials relating to Human Change Management strategy.

Initially 6 months contract with high chance of extension. Vancouver candidate is preferred, but other candidates are welcome with 100% remote work.

PROJECT DETAILS :

The Monarch program is a multi-year strategic transformation program that is changing the way we manage technical change in our Business Transformation business unit.

The program is essentially re-designing core IT processes on a service-oriented ITIL model, introducing a new tool and changing our team members’ mindsets and approaches to the work at the same time.

REPONSBILITIES :

  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Create supporting material / media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • MUST HAVE SKILLS :

  • Proven instructional design and development skills, including Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts / video scripts
  • Aptitude for IT software and processes (preferably an understanding of ITIL and core IT processes and tools)
  • NICE TO HAVE :

  • Previous TELUS experience (preferrably in Tech Strategy or BTO)
  • Experience using eLearning development software (Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate) Knowledge of Agile learning methodologies is an asset
  • Digital Media and Innovation Instructional Designer 5 - 7 years Describe your experience as a Sr. Instructional Designer to create training materials (preferably relating to Human Change Management strategy) (5 - 7 years)

    Initially 6 months contract with high chance of extension. Vancouver candidate is preferred, but other candidates are welcome with 100% remote work. 37.5 hours / week
