JOB TITLE : Junior Help Desk Analyst

DURATION : 5 Month (Possibility for extension)

LOCATION : Markham ( Remote to start until decided by Business)

Junior Help Desk Analyst (Bilingual / Unilingual) to support desktop software, operational systems(Windows 7 / Windows 10) , O365 and mobile devices for a major insurance client. 1897,1898

Primary duties include :

  • Providing technical troubleshooting with a focus on first call resolution
  • Taking ownership of all support requests through to resolution
  • Properly document and track all contacts using a ticketing system
  • Provide password reset assistance and Severity incident reporting, triage and escalation
  • Providing how to’ instructions and guidance regarding allbusiness applications
  • Interaction with users is primarily via phone. Email, instant chatand walk up are also possible.
  • Following procedures as related to standard technical troubleshooting
  • Incident escalation to various departments and vendors as needed
  • Work in coordination with 3rd party vendors for co-managed applications
  • Imaging laptops and installing software
  • Distribute application packages throughout a MS SCCM infrastructure
  • MUST HAVES :

  • 2+ years’ experience within an IT Help Desk / Service Desk environment
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting authorized desktop software, operational systems(Windows 7 / Windows 10), Office 365, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Experience using incident tracking tools / Ticketing Software( ServiceNow, HP ALM etc)
  • Fluent both in English and French.
  • NICE TO HAVES :

  • ITIL Foundations v3 / v4 certification
  • CCNA / MCSA / A+ Certifications
  • Expertise and Skills

  • Help Desk / Entry Level, Desktop Support Technician 2 - 4 years
  • Priority Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years : Please provide examples of your experience as an IT Help Desk / Service Desk / Desktop Support Analyst
  • 2 - 4 years : Please provide examples of your experience upporting authorized desktop software, operational systems(Windows 7 / Windows 10), Office 365, mobile devices and other tech products
  • 2 - 4 years : Please provide examples of your experience using incident tracking tools / Ticketing Software( ServiceNow, HP ALM etc)
