Reporting to the Manager, Locate Division, the Supervisor, Quality Assurance & Training is responsible to oversee the quality audits and environment health and safety audits for the Ontario region.
This includes health and safety, field, and documentation audits in accordance with Promark Telecon standards. The Supervisor is also responsible for supporting field, QA, and Supervisor staff in the Ontario region.
Summary of responsibilities :
Manages and support the QA Specialists, Hydro Clearing Centre and CMS billing Centre
Oversee LAC & EH&S audits completed by QA staff monthly and ensure all documentation is filed.
Ensure appropriate follow up on field and EH&S issues and provide necessary actions and corrective measures.
Support other QA & Supervisors in training / coaching of field staff and any issues that may arise.
Acts as a change agent by inspiring and driving core company values such as health and safety, experts in our line of business, and promoting teamwork.
Provide support and recommendations on reoccurring incidents and damages.
Maintains effective communication with our partners, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Design, develop, review, implement procedures and training documents.
Ensure that procedures and documentation are maintained and updated on a monthly and yearly basis.
Oversee the planning / schedule of training and evaluate training programs and recommend improvements
Collaborate with senior staff on industry, LAC, and company requirements.
Point person for yearly procedural reviews with field staff, utilities, and management.
Communicate organizational needs, oversee employee’s performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization so that each is successful.
Desired Skills & Experience :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of Damage Prevention.
Strong knowledge of proper field practices and procedures
Highly proficient in time management and excellent communication skill
Prior adult training experience an asset
Strong client relationship management skills.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and initiatives.
Strong data analysis and the ability to translate data into conclusions.
Excellent capacity to resolve operational issues.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Available to travel across Ontario.
