Our financial services client is looking for a Chief Enterprise Architect to join their team. The Chief Enterprise Architect leads HTC on a journey of IT simplification and standardization enabling the business to deliver products and services in a timely and cost effective manner.

This is a permanent full time role located in downtown Toronto walking distance from Union Station. This role reports into the CIO.

Priority Requirements :

MUST HAVE : Experience working on integration project

MUST HAVE : Experience working on .NET, Angular Applications

MUST HAVE : Experience with Data Management

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering Enterprise wide strategy and architecture, the Chief Enterprise Architect oversees key IT development to ensure current and future system designs are reviewed, documented and assessed for strategic alignment and organizational risk.
  • Leading the development and execution of architecture practices
  • Facilitating the development of Enterprise Architecture strategies, standards, practices and governance
  • Establishing Enterprise Architecture corporate memory through artefacts and repositories
  • Lead the Architecture Review Committee (ARC), guiding the evolution of the practice as well as on-going operation
  • Participate directly on key projects to ensure Enterprise architecture opportunities and risks are adequately assessed and the project team has the required architecture support and guidance to deliver the business needs
  • Work with technical, application, information and solution architects in defining and driving forward solutions aligned to enterprise strategies.
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum15 years related experience in Enterprise architecture and related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience within Financial Services industry (or other industry / sector)
  • Solution-focused, takes initiative to ensuring self and team work effectively within established guidelines
  • Able to multi-task and flourish in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
  • Strong organizational, time-management and analytical skills
  • Effective leader who motivates and engages others through fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Education and Certifications

    Minimum education required : University Degree
