You as a Project Manager - Sustainability Buildings Services will :
Leading teams in the creation, implementation, and coordination of Sustainability initiatives and LEED® related matters at RFI / RFP, design, construction, and Post construction stages.
Provide consulting / facilitation services on projects targeting LEED® certification, Toronto Green Standard, and other sustainability targets as identified by clients.
Review contract documents, identify project sustainability-related risks, identify specific requirements, interpret the corresponding scope, work with teams to mitigate risks and escalate issues as required.
Provide project start-up LEED® orientation to project teams, rolling out management systems and provide ongoing technical review, support, and training.
Oversee the work of Sustainability Assistant Project Managers and / or Sustainability Coordinators and on-site project teams with project related Sustainability / LEED® matters
Report on project status, action items, and critical milestones during the development, construction and occupancy phases.
Is this the right role for you?
You have a LEED® Accredited Professional designation with post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture or related discipline plus 6-
10 years of construction, design or consulting experience.
You have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience facilitating the LEED® process (or equivalent sustainable building practice) during various phases of design, construction, and close-out.
You have an in-depth technical understanding of the LEED® rating system and the corresponding impacts to design and construction, as well as a working understanding of other sustainability frameworks (eg : Toronto Green Standard, WELL, Envision, Net Zero Energy / Carbon, etc.).
You have a valid driver’s license (the role will involve site visitation) along with the ability to travel to other cities throughout Canada based on project portfolio.
