Within the Information Management Project Management Office we are seeking a highly organized and dedicated colleague for the Project Intake Manager role.

You care deeply about results and are passionate about leadership, innovation and project management. You have strong skills and experience in project and corporate finances.

You will bring your strengths in understanding a broad spectrum of information management and technology; you are highly effective in communicating and presenting, and are skilled in governance support services.

Be part of a collaborative, dynamic team as you :

  • Provide advice and guidance on Fraser Health financial and project policies, processes and tools to project managers and IMIT leaders
  • Maintain accurate sources of truth for Fraser Health IMIT projects including investment plans
  • Support and contribute to the development of plans and strategies for Fraser Health investments and associated benefits
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office team to implement and develop processes and standards for project governance.
  • You will have an opportunity to significantly contribute to the success of a large portfolio projects that :

  • Transform the systems, processes, and applications used by care providers and administrative support staff needed to meet FH's objective of providing the best health care possible.
  • Improve clinical, patient, and community care outcomes.
  • Improve on the non-clinical systems, services, and capabilities needed to support complex health care organization.
  • We look for you to have :

  • A superior ability to work in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and macros
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or Health Information Science.
  • Seven (7) years' recent, related experience with contemporary project management practice
  • Three (3) years' experience as a project manager within a large complex environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
  • We will give preference to those that have :

  • Experience working in Healthcare Industry.
  • Change Management experience and / or a certification (IE. PROSCI) in this discipline.
  • Experience OR certification in Prince2, IIBA (or other industry recognized PM or Business Analysis designation or standard).
  • This full time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC , with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
