You are an established leader who is responsible for the overall management of Support Services at our Norwood and Kipnes centres.

You will be accountable for the provision of quality food service, nutritional care, housekeeping and laundry service to all residents and patients.

As a member of the Centre Operations team you will ensure that the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization are being achieved while attaining a satisfying and stimulating environment for staff, residents and patients in all support services responsibilities.

Must demonstrate a commitment to CapitalCare values and hospitality by being kind and caring to residents, families, visitors and co-workers.

Implement and monitor good work safety and accident prevention measures; promote early return to work programs; fosters employee wellness and reduced absenteeism.

Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in foods and nutrition from an accredited Canadian University is required. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.

Membership in the College of Dietitians of Alberta is required for Registered Dietitians. Membership in Dietitians of Canada or other professional organization is preferred.

Experience : A minimum five years of recent support services experience, with proven leadership skills and management abilities is required.

Personal Competencies : Intermediate level skill in the use of Microsoft Office is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

An understanding of the needs of the long term care resident and post-acute population to ensure a person centred care perspective.
