The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) serves as the primary contact for small accounts under $50K in annual sales. Typical inside sales representative will attend to over 150 accounts and manage nearly $1.
5 2 million in annual sales volume with these customers.
Additionally, the inside sales representative serves as a sales support resource for the CTMS and directives and objectives are established with the input of the Regional Manager.
Qualify sales leads for all web based or phone inquiries from prospective distributors or end users; forward qualified leads to CTMs for follow up.
Document and track in Salesforce.
Process all RGAs for field sales representatives; assign RGA numbers and follow with plants to insure closure and feedback to customers.
This includes handling any / all Sales Policy credits through Marketing / Development.
Inside sales account duties include :
1. Understand product portfolio and effectively recommend products and solutions to customers : Offer alternative products or solutions to meet customers’ needs.
If something is stocked out, offer comparable spec to meet customers’ requirements.
2. Uses catalogs and software programs (Salesforce, Minuteman, Maximizer, etc.) to provide recommendations and solutions to customer inquiries.
3. Resolve complaints and conflicts as they relate to maintaining customer satisfaction
4. Provide quotes, pricing verification, inventory checks and delivery estimates as needed
Resolve complaints and conflicts as they relate to keeping customers satisfied. Communicate issues to management and work to resolve / settle disputes within company guidelines / policy.
Insure invoices are paid on time and payment residuals addressed promptly with all inside sales accounts.
Enter pricing requests for CTMS while they are traveling in the field and attending to other customer issues.
Sales representatives key objective will to beat revenue AOP for their respective accounts
As required, the insides sales representative may be required to visit accounts to discuss significant business growth opportunities
Deliver AOP revenue growth for individual accounts
Minimum Qualifications :
University degree required
Ability to understand commercial, shipping / logistics and manufacturing processes.
Must have an analytical and problem solving mindset
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Computer proficient and able to use Microsoft Office products.
Ability to portray professionalism and confidence to customers via phone and e mail.
Superior relationship building skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi task and handle large volume of work efficiently and accurately.
Individual needs to be an excellent team player and engage in regular and productive interaction with both the customer and their own organization.
Preferred Qualifications :
2 + years working in a Customer Service environment preferred.
Prior experience working as Inside Sales Representative or dealing with the management / scheduling of a manufacturing production environment is preferred.
Experience using Salesforce CRM, SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
Bilingual, English and French.
