The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a half-time Academic Teaching Staff position for a 2-year term appointment beginning September 1, 2018.
Reporting to the Chair in the Department of Chemistry, the position will be responsible for teaching the Introductory University Chemistry courses (CHEM 101, 102, 103, 105) and the Introductory Organic Chemistry courses (CHEM 261, 263).
Expectations are that the appointee would teach at least three sections per year during the fall and winter terms and possibly during spring term.
As a part of their teaching responsibilities, the appointee would be expected to remain abreast of current developments in science and in pedagogy, particularly as they relate to instruction in chemistry.

This appointment requires a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry and successful teaching experience.
