The ideal candidates musthave 5+ years of Property Development and Commercial experience. Responsibilitieswill include a variety of legal administrative duties, including preparation oflegal documents and correspondence.
Strong administrative and organizationalskills are essential. Candidates must also show initiative, be able to workwith minimal supervision and work effectively as part of a team.

Drafting, preparing and applying proofreading andediting skills to legal documents in a mortgage enforcement practice andcorrespondence on behalf of lawyer
Preparing demand letters and notices of sale
Liaising with clients to obtain information andinstructions
Entering dockets and preparing accounts
Assist in managing the lawyer’s practice including opening files, filing, arranging meetings, scheduling hearing dates, arranging travel, etc.
Coordinating and monitoring administrativefunctions to ensure completion of work accurately and in a timely manner
Managing bring forward system and keeping lawyerapprised of matters in-office
RequiredExperience / Skills / Qualifications
5+ years of Commercial Real Estate & Property Development experience
Legal Assistant diploma
Strongadministrative and organizational skills as well as above average attention todetail
Abilityto work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
Strongverbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
Strong technical skills with working knowledge of legal software and standard software (Word 2007, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, Styles, Teraview, Conveyancer, Digital Dictation, and Proficiency with document management)
