Optinet Systems Inc. is a service based integrator providing IP Communications, structured cable networks and Access Control / CCTV in the Metro Vancouver area.
We are currently looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our sales team in our Structured Cabling division.
Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated and results driven.
The Sales role will include but is not limited to :
Prospect and identify opportunities to bid on Low Voltage / Structured cabling projects
Call on as well as respond to and meet with General Contractors for bidding opportunities
Prospect opportunities with building owners or management companies, facility managers and MSPs
Consult with internal resources for input and approval when creating bid responses
Identify and attend networking events, conferences and trade shows to develop business opportunities
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with customers, vendors and lead sources
Proficiently executes a complete sales cycle while providing status updates for all active opportunities
Recent experience selling Low Voltage / Structured cabling in the local market
Must have the ability to read construction plans and takeoffs
Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written
Proficient with the Microsoft suite, specifically; Outlook, Excel and MS word
Aptitude to familiarize yourself with industry knowledge and associated technologies
Travel to local prospective customers and / or vendor events as needed
Access Control and CCTV knowledge is an asset
