We are looking for a dedicated full-time Building Operator to join our team at DXC Datacentre in Mississauga .
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs regular facility duties on mechanical equipment, specifically HVAC and building systems monitoring and inspection, preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met, uninterrupted client operation and asset integrity of assigned facilities are maintained
Observes, reports, some troubleshooting & maintenance of distribution systems single and redundant cooling distribution systems, steam and heating systems, complex valves, redundant distribution systems, central and package cooling plants, chilled water storage, boiler plants, cooling towers, dry coolers, water treatment, point of delivery cooling components, and complex central building control systems
Performs work in accordance to established processes and risk management practices to ensure achievement of facility uptime objectives and to mitigate risks
Complies with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection and risk management
Provide observations about facility, HVAC / mechanical equipment and building systems conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repair.
Monitors assigned facilities by conducting facility walkthroughs, HVAC / mechanical equipment and system monitoring.
Responds to service requests and demand maintenance and performs routine and emergency service on facility equipment and systems.
Assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance (PM) program. Ensures that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documentations are maintained.
Participates in and assists with facility-related projects.
Ensure the manner of work is performed is in compliant with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices and guidelines related to environmental, health and safety, fire protection and any other applicable requirements.
Maintains all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required
Refrigeration License 313a
10+ years experience
Class B operator license preferred
Experienced on Liebert CRAC AC systems
Kyoto AC system experience preferred
Local IBEW site CBA
