An opportunity for a full time Account handler at Pickering has become available as part of the agencies on-going expansion plans.
The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic team responsible for generating commercial new business insurance to a range of businesses across Ryedale.
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including the following :
Plan, prospect, select and sell Commercial general insurance products.
Develop and manage your own pipeline of business that is sufficient to achieve targets.
Ability to prospect, self-generate, plan and manage your own Mid Corporate Commercial opportunities, supported by a Lead Coordinator.
Identify, cross sell leads for Financial Services and Risk Management Services.
Carrying out external sales calls in compliant and professional manner.
Maintain own technical knowledge and skills.
Provide advice and review existing policies for commercial clients.
Current car license
You will need to have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Math’s and English, face to face or direct telephone contact skills would be an advantage.
The role will be office based which will be Monday to Friday (8 : 30am-5pm) with an hour’s lunch each day. The salary will be based upon experience.
