The What

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager is a highly motivated hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-

paced, competitive Industrial sales and Retail environment. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for sales of Power Tools, Hand Tools, Storage and Accessories to their assigned account base.

Possessing strong negotiation, merchandising, presentation, and product knowledge skills, and the ability to implement various sales and marketing programs across both channels.

The How

  • Achieve and manage sales and margin targets with an emphasis on growth
  • Develop product purchase and sell through plans for distribution partners
  • Coordinate with Marketing to create unique promotional and buy plans to support flyer activity, online and in-store sales
  • Use product and market knowledge to provide full business solutions
  • Develop and nurture strong account relationships
  • Identify new customer prospects and sell our products value proposition
  • Provide and coordinate product training to end users and distribution partners
  • Plan and execute customer and end user events (trade shows) with a focus on product showcase and demonstrations
  • Manage the business within assigned budgets
  • Provide feedback on competitive activity to the marketing group
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals with strong negotiation skills
  • Determine strategic planning related to new product lines
  • Manage inventory support at the distributor level to maintain growth targets in the markets served
  • What we need

  • College or University completion in a Marketing, Business or relative field of study
  • 2yrs + industrial tools and / or accessory sales experience with a record of demonstrated achievements
  • Strong planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong MS office skills including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
