We are helping our client, XX Bank to look for a Customer Relationship Manager at their Greater Vancouver Branches. The Customer Relationship Manager role at XX Bank Corp is a critical bottom-line driven component that sells and cross-sell banking products to clients while ensuring full compliance of all banking regulations and rules.
You will perform a variety of sales and service activities to retail and business banking customers. Your emphasis will be on client conversion, acquiring new account relationships, and retaining existing client through demonstrating superior customer service skills.
You will support the Branch Manager in leading, motivating, and rewarding your team.
Job Duties :
Sell and cross-sell banking products effectively and efficiently catering to clients’ needs through new account / service acquisition.
Retain existing clients through effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Perform banking transactions, making qualified referrals and developing existing client portfolios through up-sell and cross-sell.
Maintain superior, professional, and courteous service to promote products and expand customer relationships.
Actively participates and assists with all Bank promotional programs and initiatives.
Ensure timely, effective, and accurate processing of transaction and customer inquiries.
Actively refer customer to other areas of our bank’s business as needed.
Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with our Bank’s regulatory standards as well as compliance with government regulations.
University degree / College diploma or equivalent work experience. Business diploma preferred.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is an asset.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong expertise in banking or related industry in customer service / client facing role.
Previous experience with a Canadian banking institution preferred
Strong team player with the ability to sell and cross-sell banking products.
Ability to multitask, tight turnarounds, and multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication, listening skills, and conflict resolution.
Strong understanding of bank products, banking regulations and procedures
Good knowledge of customer service principles
Demonstrates professional appearance and work attitude
Able to work on Saturdays as required.
