We have a Director, Clinical Operations (Burnaby) role for a diverse portfolio with the responsibility that covers a broad range of Community Health and Acute Care Services .

The portfolio includes areas of Home Health, Home Support, Burnaby New Canadian & Global Family Clinics, Day Program for Older Adults.

As well as Palliative Care Inpatient Unit, Oncology Outpatient Clinic, Clinical Outpatient Services (COS) and other health service areas.

Your unique combination of leadership skills and clinical knowledge will enable the delivery of key projects and services that positively impact the quality of life and improve the health of our population.

Collaborating across a breadth of stakeholder relationships, you will deepen them to seamlessly develop and deploy strategic and operational plans within budget.

You are a strategic leader and will be a key member of the Burnaby Senior Leadership Team at Fraser Health Authority . As the Director, Clinical Operations, you will engage and empower individuals, teams, physicians, patients and volunteers.

Key responsibilities of this rewarding role include :

  • Leading strategic / operational planning, integration, implementation and delivery of a program / department / service.
  • Ensuring program / department / service operates within approved financial mandate.
  • Reviewing and endorsing budgets and financial plans developed by Managers.
  • Overseeing development of policies supports for integration and standardization of health programs / services, capacity from a systems perspective.
  • Ensuring standardization of practice, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness support building integrated patient / client / resident-centered care.
  • Representing the program / department / service in the health service community, civic / provincial governments or others.
  • Providing leadership to support engagement and respect of our people through effective feedback, retention strategies, work practices that support work / life balance and the encouragement of personal and professional development.
  • Liaising with Foundation Heads improving alignment with Foundation and Fraser Health strategic and operational priorities.
  • We are looking for you to have :

  • Master’s level of education in a field related to health care management;
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience.Join the team to make a positive difference for the people and community we serve.
