We are looking for an Android Engineer to build our mobile app from the ground up. The design and data are ready, we just need a developer to consume and present this content for our millions of customers.

  • Write robust, modular, and quality code with appropriate tests
  • Leverage your problem-solving skills to design and implement solutions.
  • Tackling tech debt at the right times for faster feature delivery
  • Take ownership of the design, development, and operationalization of native features and systems
  • Participate in code review and best practice discussions
  • What you will bring to the team :

  • 3+ years of recent professional native Android development experience
  • Expert knowledge of the Android SDK and Java / Kotlin object-oriented development
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams
  • Experience developing user-facing applications and comprehensive knowledge of Google's Material Design concepts
  • Strong theoretical foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
  • Experience with RESTful API applications
  • Have a mindset for end-to-end ownership of feature development
  • Passionate, motivated, and capable of working autonomously

  • Experience in a continuous integration & delivery environment
  • Experience working with Firebase for content delivery
