Here’s how we work :

IBI Group's Vancouver office is searching for an Senior Contract Administrator to join its growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with our Institutional group.

Most of the things you’ll work on :

  • Coordination of building permit, construction drawing and construction administration of institutional projects
  • Coordination of a project team and sub-consultants
  • Coordination of permit approvals
  • Organize and lead user group and client stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare meeting minutes and project schedules
  • You'll need to have :

  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience as contract admininistrator, with a focus on institutional work
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture and / or a recognized Institution by the AIBC
  • Must be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia
  • Canadian experience is a must
  • Experience in British Columbia is preferred
  • A deep understanding of how to put together a set of construction documents that provides clarity to those that implement them
  • An understanding and application of the broader design objectives while developing the details
  • Strong graphic and organizational skills
  • A high level of proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work independently and through collaboration and co-creation with others
  • A understanding of the BC Building Code and its application to construction detailing
  • Demonstrated background of experience detailing larger scale institutional buildings, both new and renovations
