As a Senior Manager, Tax, in the Privately Held Business areas of tax, you will have the opportunity to :

As a Senior Manager in the Privately Held Business area of Tax your responsibilities will include :
Work closely with clients and the engagement team to develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to achieve our client’s business objectives.
Be a leader in the management and development of our growing tax practice.
Assist clients manage their income tax planning, implementation and compliance requirements including complex PHB corporate, personal, and trust matters.
Identify, develop and pursue new opportunities for assisting clients with value added-on tax services.
Provide exceptional client service.
Stay attuned and respond to new legislation, interpretations and market factors that impact our clients.
Coach and mentor professional staff.
Prepare and present information to clients, colleagues and other professionals.

A recognized professional accounting designation, LLB or other appropriate combination of work experience and academic credentials (i.e. master’s degree in tax).
Completion of CICA In-depth levels 1 and 2 tax courses or commensurate experience.
Substantive expertise with the tax-related aspects of succession, trust and estate matters gained as one element of providing corporate and personal tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses.
Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Ability to develop, present and apply new ideas, creative approaches and innovative solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong interest in coaching and development, with a commitment to personal growth
Commitment to excellence in product quality and attention to detail.
A team player able to rally resources and work with others to meet the needs of the client.
