Inspired by night markets from around the world, The Stop’s Night Market on June 18 & 19th brings together creatives from Toronto’s culinary, design, performance, and graphic arts sectors to celebrate community and the power of food.

The Stop's Night Market is presented by FreshBooks, and all proceeds support The Stop Community Food Centre, a nationally respected nonprofit organization that's provided food-

based programs, services, and advocacy in Toronto for over 35 years.

There are day-time set-up volunteer shifts on June 17th, 18th and 19th, and tear-down volunteer shifts on the 20th.

Set-up shifts : 10am - 2pm or 1pm - 6pm

Set-up shifts

Tear-down shifts (20th only) : 9am - 12pm or 1pm - 5pm

Tear-down shifts

Volunteers may be asked to help with the following :

  • Set-up volunteer areas, vendor areas with tables and equipment
  • Unpack boxes, rentals and supplies and distribute to appropriate stations
  • Clean any necessary rentals
  • Any creative volunteers may be asked to assist with the onsite décor
  • Volunteers should be fairly independent with activity and must be comfortable with heavy lifting & carrying
  • A delicious lunch will be provided for all daytime volunteers.
