  • Increase reporting efficiencies, delivering improvements to management information and performance tracking that can be rolled out across the business.
  • Design and deliver new business performance tracking and support the integration into the business
  • Point of contract for any errors on automatic reports to work with IT team(Sequel) to rectify and build in control checks to minimise issues
  • Manage financial models for periodic P&L reporting both for internal and PE databases alongside all exec deliverables
  • Work with the dedicated accountant to produce pub P&Ls to the highest quality through booking journals and reviewing P&Ls
  • Hold monthly open session days where Operations Managers can come discuss queries with Financials and to act as a central Finance contact to resolve any problems on behalf of the Operations Manager
  • Liaise with Operations Managers and Directors to support them on budgeting and reforecasting as required
  • Lead continuous improvements in financial process and controls across the Finance function and perform mini audits to ensure we have the most optimal processes and data is accurate
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis as required

  • Develop a performance scorecard to monitor the performance of each outlet and help support the Operation Managers to give all information required for the Publicans and to get the best out of each outlet

  • Person Specification Technical Competencies / Professional expertise

  • Self-motivated; able to work on own initiative but also to be flexible in supporting the team
  • Key eye for detail to capture any errors prior to distribution
  • Able to plan and organise effectively in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on the telephone and in writing
  • Ability to build rapport and develop key relationships
  • Proactive approach to individual training, development and progression
  • Ability to motivate a team, to develop individuals within your team
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and experience of working with large data sets
  • GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths is highly desirable
  • CIMA / ACCA Qualified
